It’s official, and we’re finally able to announce that we’ve partnered with WooThemes. Most of you know of WooThemes, they’re big in the WordPress game, and we’re sure that working together with them will bring a lot of quality and value to the bundle for all of our customers.

After some long thought and discussion we’ve finally worked something out that is going to benefit our customers in multiple ways, taking the best of both and combining them in a way that benefits everything and everybody involved.

The Details of the Partnership

Essentially, WPBundle will be built on the Woo Framework, or in other words “Powered by WooThemes.” This means users can benefit from the kind of features that help make WooThemes one of the best loved WordPress companies around.

The themes we’re building, and have shown to you already, are still going to look exactly the same, and we’re still packing in all of the details and added touches that we planned, they’re just going to be built a little differently.

This also means that our users will benefit from future updates and features that are added to the WooThemes Framework.

WPBundle will still be running completely independently, so we’ve still got our own big plans and big ideas that we’re still going to see through, so this partnership will not get in the way of any plans or ideas that are in place, it’s simply a chance for us both to share some useful resources with eachother that will benefit both sets of customers from each side.

Top-Notch Support

WooThemes have received a lot of praise for their support and after-care of customer, and this is something we’d aspired to match. But now, as part of this partnership we’re pleased to announce that the WooThemes support staff will also be on hand to offer support and advice to WPBundle users. It also means that even from day one there will be a team of people on hand to help you through any problems you might have with the bundle.

Of course we will also be on hand to oversee the support and we’ll still be answering questions and actively involved in the support process ourselves!

Moving Forward

We’re in the process of porting the themes to work on the Woo Framework, and as soon as that is done we’re going to open up to you guys and look for some beta testers. Make sure you sign up as a developer to receive updates about testing and we’ll keep you updated.

We’re very excited about how things are moving along, and we hope this latest bit of news as you all looking forward to the Bundle as much as we are.

The money we had hoped to raise on KickStarter was never a necessity to the process of launching the Bundle. We saw it as a chance to work & collaborate with some exciting designers we liked the look of, but it was never something we relied on and we’re still very much going ahead with our original plan and working on the bundle entirely by ourselves.

Moving forward: Updates & Exciting news to come

Updates will resume soon, so keep your eyes out for that. We’re also in the process of designing a pre-launch forum where we will properly collect feedback and suggestions and also give some users the chance to test-run the themes.

We’re still busy working on the themes, and making some big decisions about how to approach the next stage of the whole process; but we’re very excited to be moving forward and can’t wait to reveal some more details about what we’ve been up to as well as upload some more screenshots over the coming weeks.
